Mac and Linux VPN Clients

Kerio WinRoute Firewall 6.6 now extends easy VPN access to Mac and Linux users that work from home or on the road.
  • Use Mac and Linux applications to access the network
  • No firewall compatibility issues - connect from home, coffee shop, or anywhere
  • Use the same password as Active Directory - less passwords to remember and maintain
  • Monitor and restrict Internet activity of VPN users - increase field employee productivity

New supported operating systems
  • Mac OS 10.4 and above
  • Debian and Ubuntu

Secure collocated servers

Install the Kerio VPN Client on a collocated server to encrypt client connections to the server by making it a virtual node on the network.

In version 6.6, the Kerio VPN Client runs as a service on Windows and as a daemon on Mac and Linux. This allows the Kerio VPN Client to:
  • Re-initiate VPN connection after rebooting from an OS update or server maintenance.
  • Stay connected without having to be logged into the operating system. Keep the server protected from physical access to the operating system.
