Kerio Technologies implements Bibit payment gateway

Bibit payment gateway for Internet purchases gives Kerio Technologies’ partners flexible options when buying software online.

SANTA CLARA, CA - International money transfers are still expensive despite the conversion to the unified Euro currency, introduced in 12 European countries at the beginning of this year. In addition, many consumers are still uncomfortable submitting credit card information over the Internet. All of that can discourage a European customer from buying goods from overseas, or even from other European countries, over the Internet.

Dutch company Bibit Internet Payments has addressed the major concern of European customers by introducing extensive payment system for Internet purchasing.

Kerio Technologies, a Silicon Valley publisher of Internet security products, introduced Bibit payment processing system to its resellers and allows them to use a number of alternative payment instruments to pay for the products. Using Bibit gateway, European customers of Kerio can now take advantage of the payment methods popular in their country.

Bibit offers European customers a wide portfolio of country-specific payment methods ranging from traditional credit card processing, to several online banking methods, and even to old-fashioned, but still popular, bank cheques.

Kerio Technologies is a leading developer of Internet security products and sells its products to customers worldwide. Europe accounts for more than one third of its sales.

"Bibit’s payment solution is impressive. The variety of payment options gives our European partners convenient alternatives to using credit cards and that removes barriers to ordering online," said Dusan Vitek, marketing director of Kerio Technologies Inc.

Bibit offers a convenient web based user interface that allows Kerio to easily track sales and corresponding payments.
