Comprehensive email access
Kerio MailServer supports open and proprietary email protocols. Access email using:

• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Entourage through WebDAV
• Treo, Windows Mobile®, and Symbian devices through Kerio Mobility
• BlackBerry devices through NotifyLink
• WebMail
• Any POP or IMAP client

Secure connections
With support for standard protocols such as secure POP, IMAPS and HTTPS, users can safely and confidently access email from work, at home, or while on the road. Email can be securely accessed through Outlook, Entourage, WebMail, mobile devices, and any POP or IMAP client, when using SSL encryption.

Kerio MailServer provides a simple process to import root or intermediate SSL certificates as well as a wizard to create a self-signed certificate.

TLS for SMTPS is also available for organizations that need to securely exchange emails between two servers.

Secure authentication
Several authentication options such as Cram-MD5, Kerberos authentication with directory servers, pluggable authentication modules (PAM) on the Linux version, are available to provide easy management and secure authentication. Policies can be enabled to enforce all connections to be secure.

Passwords stored on the internal database are optionally protected with SHA encryption.

Mailing lists
Create your own newsletter. Integrated with Kerio MailServer is mailing list feature with light list server features. Control member subscription/unsubscription, moderate message postings, hide recipient list and more.

Multi-domain mail server
Kerio MailServer supports multiple domains. Each domain contains its own set of users, groups, email addresses, and mailing lists.
