INTRODUCING KERIO OPERATOR 1.2
Our Award-Winning IP PBX
Last month, Kerio announced significant enhancements to its IP PBX solution. Kerio Operator 1.2 is now based on Asterisk 1.8, which is the engine behind the new features in this version, and will play an even larger role in future innovation. We’ve also added support for analog phone lines through a Digium TDM410 card so organizations that have limited SIP connectivity can take advantage of Kerio Operator’s VoIP features.

TRY OUT THE NEW KERIO KNOWLEDGE BASE
Robust Online Documentation & Support Community
We've revamped our product documentation with the new
Kerio Knowledge Base system. This new self help portal will allow readers to find solutions to many common problems, evaluate and comment on articles, share practical experience with others and suggest possible workarounds to their peers.
We believe that this will help build a stronger community around Kerio products while providing quicker solutions when problems do arise. We will continue to provide PDF versions of our product manuals while we complete the transition to the new Knowledge Base system.
TIPS AND TRICKS FOR KERIO OPERATOR
Dialing with a Point and a Click
When using Active Directory or Open Directory, Kerio Operator will lookup all users in the directory for contact information, including users that are not imported into Operator. So if you use Kerio Connect, for example, and you store all contact information in the Global Address List, this information will be available in Operator.
Simply log in to the web based MyPhone interface, begin typing a few characters of a person's name from the directory, and any matching results will be returned. Select the intended contact and your provisioned phone will immediately begin ringing without any manual dialing. Just point and click - it's that easy!

Patches for Kerio Control and Kerio Connect
An important change in Kerio WebFilter will take place on March 1st, 2012. In order to ensure seamless website categorization in Kerio Control, it is necessary to update Kerio Control to version 7.2.2 patch 4 which is available for
download here. All versions prior to 7.2.2 patch 4 are affected. No other changes are included in this patch and it is required to continue proper functionality of Kerio WebFilter.
Last month Microsoft released a Windows Update that produced numerous errors with Kerio Outlook Connector (Offline Edition) including Outlook not being able to send Mail. Kerio responded quickly and released a patch within 48 hours, but our support teams continue to get calls on this matter. Kerio advises that all Kerio Connect installations should be updated to the latest version. Read our blog for details and symptoms.
