Kerio Operator Softphone

Kerio Operator Softphone is a software-based phone app that lets you make and receive calls on your Apple iOS or Android mobile device right from your office phone system. Kerio Operator Softphone is designed to work with Kerio Operator IP PBX or any other SIP based VoIP service.

Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the application lets users integrate contacts from their phone's native contacts directory, transfer to speakerphone, mute and hold calls, recall call history, change ringtones and contact avatars, and much more.

Fax is not dead

That is what our users taught us. And so Kerio Operator 2.1 comes with fax support in 3 different flavors.

  • T-38 support. Any extension in Kerio Operator can send and receive faxes. All you need to do is connect your fax machine to an Analog Telephone Adapter device (for example, Cisco SPA 112) and then assign one of Operator extensions to the ATA device
  • Fax-to-email. All users´ extensions can receive and send fax messages as PDF and TIFF attachments. In addition to this, you can define a PBX service at a separate extension number that will do fax-to-email as well
  • PDF-to-fax. The Kerio Operator client, previously known as MyPhone interface, provides a simple method for sending faxes by uploading a PDF file to the Kerio Operator client

Built-In DHCP server

Kerio Operator 2.1 introduces a built in DHCP server that automatically assigns IP addresses to VoIP devices. Just plug your new VoIP device into the network and you are ready to go. No need to bother the IT guy.

Dynamic voice conference

Kerio Operator now provides two conference types - statically configured and newly - dynamic. Callers who call the dynamic conference extension are asked to enter a conference ID and PIN. If the ID belongs to a conference that is currently in progress, the caller is connected to the conference, otherwise the conference is created and the caller becomes the first participant. The conference is ended when the last member leaves.

Paging

Kerio Operator 2.1 introduces paging support in the form of paging groups. The administrator simply defines a paging group, assigns an extension to the group and adds some phones to the group. To page all members of the group, a user simply calls the group’s extension. The phone will answer the call automatically and will activate the loudspeaker.

Support for distinctive ringing groups

Kerio Operator enables distinctive ringing so you can now set different ring tones for local (within the same PBX), external or ring group numbers.

Kerio SaaS

As the world moves to the Cloud, the new Kerio Operator keeps up with the trends and brings Kerio Cloud service. Kerio Cloud is a hosted infrastructure service that allows Kerio Partners to offer hosted Kerio products to their end customers without the need to purchase or maintain their own server environment.

“Kerio Operator demonstrates that Kerio excels at applying a sane, user-friendly interface on top of stable, powerful, enterprise applications. The feature set is nicely selected, and the admin interface is dead simple.

All it takes is one
installation to get the
hang of it. Now my
team and I are
VoIP professionals!"
