GetSync'd.Com combines the functionality of Kerio Connect with certified VMWare technology for a high-powered, fully redundant messaging platform. To eliminate risk associated with single server implementations, GetSync'd.Com has utilized VMWare’s High Availability technology to cluster multiple instances of Kerio Connect Servers and insure data accessibility.
The GetSync'd.Com Kerio Connect cluster operates on the VMWare vSphere platform, which replicates data on multiple servers and enables the connection to be transferred to another server if the current server goes down for any reason. It takes the server approximately 54 seconds to complete the transfer, ensuring that the end user sees virtually no downtime. In addition, every server in the Kerio Connect cluster has redundant connections and power sources, enabling another connection or power source to quickly take over should a problem arise.
GetSync'd.Com’s Disaster Recovery option permits all of the data to be replicated between servers in different physical data center locations. GetSync'd has server locations in both Dallas and Boston, ensuring that if power loss or a natural disaster brings servers down in one location, servers in the other location will take over in under a minute. The redundancy and immediate disaster recovery features of the Kerio Connect cluster make it an affordable alternative to more expensive messaging platforms.
