    Introducing Kerio Control 8.3

    Reverse Proxy

Reverse proxy allows you to host several web domains behind a single IP address. In case of a single public IP address on firewall and several web servers in LAN users had to use port mapping with different ports on firewall. With reverse proxy you can use default HTTP/HTTPS ports and forward traffic to different servers based on the hostname.

Read about the reverse proxy in our Knowledge Base: Configuring a reverse proxy

    Traffic Rules management improvements

Traffic Rules in Kerio Control includes the following list of improvements:

    • New wizard for creating traffic rules

    • Text search — find a traffic rule by text

    • Test rules — debug your list of traffic rules

Read about testing rules in our Knowledge Base: Troubleshooting traffic rules

    • Service groups — group multiple services and write rules for them

    • Row hiding — make your traffic rules list more transparent

    • Last Used column — identify unused rules

    • More color options

Read about traffic rules in our Knowledge Base: Configuring traffic rules

    MAC addresses under control

    Automatic User Login by MAC

Hardwire users with their devices (tablets, phones, laptops and workstations). Your users are not required to type their password to access the Internet.

You can use Login user automatically by MAC directly from Active Hosts (currently connected hosts).

Read about the automatic login in our Knowledge Base: Configuring automatic user login

    New Host log

Host log — gives you information who, when, from which address and machine accesses the Kerio Control network.

Read about the new Host log in our Knowledge Base: Using the Host log
