The Role

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic individual to become a key contributor to our Samepage Cloud Ops team. In this role you will work cross-functionally with Cloud Ops, Development, Technical Support, Sales and Product Management teams to ensure that Samepage keeps humming like a top.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge and experience administering Linux-based systems (Debian/Ubuntu), databases
• The ability to configure and troubleshoot network configurations
• Scripting skills (Python, shell scripts, etc.)
• Ability/availability to travel occasionally to our European offices for technical discussions

Bonus points for:

• Exposure to, and understanding of, security compliance and best practices under prevalent regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and/or SOX
• Being conversant in developers lingo
• Ability to describe cloud ops matters to sales people

Responsibilities

• Improving our cloud infrastructure, working in a team with members across the globe, and cross-functionally with developers and others in our offices in the Czech Republic and elsewhere.
• The care and feeding of our Samepage environment:
• Monitoring operations
• Upgrades
• Maintenance work
• Troubleshooting problems
