The Role
Kerio is looking to add a Spam and Security Specialist to our development team to work on Kerio Connect, our innovative message and groupware solution. We need someone with proven development skills, critical thinking, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
What you will be doing
- Develop, implement and update the existing antispam solution in Kerio Connect
- Create and implement new strategies in stopping spam and viruses
- Implement and maintain cloud services for protecting millions of user mailboxes
- Analyze and inspect security threats and weaknesses
Skills required
- Knowledge of regular expressions desired
- Knowledge of basic Linux commands desired
- Ability to work on and contribute to a team
- In-depth knowledge of internet protocols for email exchange (SMTP), DNS
- Knowledge of existing anti-spam techniques (SPF, DKIM)
- Programming in scripting language (Perl) and C++ or Java
- Experience with securing web applications
- Quick learner
Additional wow-factors
- Experience with cloud service architecture and deployment
- Erlang programming
- Bash or Python scripting
- SQL and NoSQL database experience
- Deep knowledge of security impact of XSS, SQL Injection and other vulnerabilities
