An Infographic About IP Voice - Yes it's on the Rise

Infographics...they do such a good job describing what we already know, or have long suspected. If I had any design skills, I'd create a lot of them.

A new infographic from Axvoice takes a look at the state of telephony in the United States and confirms:

  • Traditional landline telephony is being phased out.
  • Mobile phones, while rising in popularity, are becoming more expensive now that they have become mini computers.
  • IP Voice (VoIP) is on the rise because it is the most cost effective method of voice communication.

This all seems pretty obvious right? And, the trend will certainly continue in the future. So, there is a huge market opportunity for IT VARs to grow their business through voice, and for organziations to lower telephony costs without sacrificing call quality or features.

There is no longer any reason to fear VoIP. The distinction between voice and data traffic is effectively irrelevant with SIP being the new protocol that enables voice on data to be connected to the PSTN. Quite simply, email and voice are now the same (technically).

Our approach to IP voice, Kerio Operator, brings simplicity, security and functionality to business VoIP. One of our preferred partners, Walter Huff at Huff Technologies, gave it a try and said:

"After four years of having a substandard phone system, Huff Technologies made the move to Kerio Operator. With minimal training we had the system up and running quickly, it was fully functional with many features. In looking for a SIP provider, Kerio support recommended NexVortex and all I can say is "WOW". From a cold call they made me feel like the most important customer of the day and walked me through from setting up the account all the way to SIP tracing."

Check out the graphic and don't be afraid to give IP Voice a try.
