The Kerio Softphone Allows Me To Get More Sleep

As Kerio's global PR Manager based in California, I sometimes keep odd hours. One night I might have a midnight conversation with Abi Vickram, our director of sales in Australia, to make sure he isn't making a PR gaffe. The next morning I might be on an early call with one of our European PR agencies.

Whether it be the fact I have better coffee at home, or that I'm scared of being in the office alone, or just the fact I could use a few extra minutes of sleep - I prefer to take these calls at home instead of at the office. Enter the Kerio Softphone, which allows me to connect my iPhone to the Kerio office phone system.

The Kerio Operator Softphone is available on the iPhone and Android. It's a SIP-based phone application that uses a Wi-Fi or a cellular data network to connect to the IP PBX server. I've found that phone calls are easy and I have access to my work contacts and voicemail. It even has multitasking functionality so that it runs in the background and I can use my iPhone to throw out a tweet, or check Samepage during the boring parts of a call.

The Kerio Operator Softphone is available from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for $8.99. It is designed to work with not only the Kerio Operator IP PBX or any other SIP based VoIP service. So give it a try, and see if it improves the quality of your life like it has mine.
