Kerio Workspace – A single place to create, share, and find information

Email is the undisputed office workhorse. I have yet to talk to someone who would credibly argue that email is dead. Email is great for sending status information to co-workers but not so great for developing and sharing ideas and documents. Over the many years that we've been in the messaging industry, we have seen teams of all sizes struggle with keeping their documents and knowledge resources readily available to their colleagues. Some of our customers have used Kerio Connect's public folders to store documents that need to be shared.

Unsurprisingly, here at Kerio we have had the same issue and ran an internal project to address the challenges of document-based collaboration for our own needs. We went through a few wikis, a CMS, and we even used SharePoint for quite a while. Our experience was discouraging. And that's how it all started.

A small team of very curious people got together to crack the problem. They built a prototype. Then another one. Some of us tried it, and we liked it. And at some point, it became apparent that we had a really useful product - a central location where we go every day to find and share the stuff we need to work more efficiently. This product is now called Kerio Workspace.

Kerio Workspace gives teams a single place to hatch and develop ideas, have a single point of reference for projects, and permanent storage for files and information. You can post descriptions of documents, meeting notes and descriptive images. You can embed web clippings, videos, and presentations. You can edit files and track changes to secure document integrity. All accessed securely on your own servers and from your favorite browser, anywhere in the world.

After about a year of using Kerio Workspace for all of our marketing projects, I honestly have a hard time recalling how we ever worked before. Kerio Workspace has become an inherent part of our work life. And not the marketing department, all of Kerio globally now relies on Workspace. Not only do we share and find information on Workspace, we encourage one another to host files only on Workspace and not use attachments in email conversations with people.

It's exciting to share Kerio Workspace with you and I hope it will have as transformative an effect on the way you work as it did for us.
