More ports; wall mount capability; fanless cooling; sleek styling. No, it is not a new HDTV. It is Kerio Control Box 1120*, the first refresh of our entry level UTM appliance, and it is quite refreshing.

We have added a lot without increasing the cost. Improved performance comes from the new dual core Atom processor from Intel. This, along with the two additional Gb Ethernet ports (for a total of six) and the 32 GB SSD, should increase the overall scalability of the unit. The boxes come preloaded with Kerio Control 8.1 firmware, putting it ahead feature-wise of many competitors in its class.

Without a fan, the unit is as comfortable in the corner of an office as it is in the server room. This will make it easier to deploy in smaller offices that don't have a server room but don't want to compromise on security. The boxes are now available in the US, EU and Australia with more markets coming soon.
