Kerio Names Huff Technologies as a Preferred Partner

Managed IT Services Provider For Small Businesses Reaches Highest Honor in Kerio's Partner Program

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 27, 2011 - Kerio Technologies, Inc. today announced that Huff Technologies has attained Kerio Preferred Partner status. Huff Technologies, based in Jacksonville, Fla., offers high-value, high-performance managed IT services and tech support for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). As a value-added reseller of Kerio's messaging, voice and collaboration products for SMBs, the company has demonstrated continuous sales growth and advancement within Kerio's Business Partner Program.

As a leading IT solutions provider in the Jacksonville area, Huff Technologies offers a variety of technology solutions and support to customers. The company provides managed IT services, on-demand IT support, and data protection, giving clients the ability to concentrate on building their business instead of worrying about their IT infrastructure. With the Kerio Connect messaging and collaboration server, Huff Technologies offers customers the ability to synchronize email, contacts, calendars and tasks between computers, smart phones and Web mail.

"Right from our first installation of the Kerio Connect messaging server, the sales and technical support we have received from Kerio has been excellent," said Walter Huff, owner, Huff Technologies. "Now, as a preferred partner, we have the ability to offer an email solution that has everything customers have been asking for. Kerio Connect offers all the features of Microsoft Exchange and does so at a significantly lower price point."

Recently, Huff Technologies migrated Century Ambulance Services from 26 physical servers to a clustered Microsoft Hyper-V environment with 22 virtual servers. As part of the process, Huff also transitioned 300 Century Ambulance employees from Exchange to Kerio Connect. Kerio Connect's deployment flexibility makes it an ideal option for virtual environments. In addition to server space saved, Century Ambulance also noticed a significant cost savings without sacrificing features or reliability.

"We believe that our partners' success translates into our success, and this mutually beneficial culture drives our partnership program," said Mirek Kren, vice president, worldwide sales. "Huff Technologies is a welcome addition, as they are dedicated to providing customized implementations of Kerio's products in demanding SMB environments."

The Kerio Partner Program is designed for IT resellers, consultants and MSPs that are dedicated to selling and supporting solutions targeted to SMBs. The program offers comprehensive benefits such as on-line and in-person training programs, complimentary NFR licenses, no-cost certifications, and priority technical support. In addition, Kerio's secure partner portal offers on-line orders, license and renewal management tools, an assortment of sales and marketing tools and other online resources. Kerio recently launched a new global partner locator with improved partner search capabilities that drives qualified leads to its Certified and Preferred partners. The company's communication, collaboration and security solutions are offered exclusively via channel partners.
