Kerio Techologies’ Elise Hymes and Karen Miller Named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel List
San Jose, CA, June 2, 2014 -- Kerio Technologies, helping small and mid-sized businesses connect, communicate, and collaborate securely, today announced that Elise Hymes, Senior Marketing Manager, and Karen Miller, Director of Sales, have been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole.
Hymes was instrumental in successfully launching Kerio's flagship SaaS collaboration tool, Samepage, to its reseller channel, including a new partner portal (powered by Samepage) that made it easier for channel partners to stay up-to-date on Kerio news, announcements, and access the latest sales and marketing-related materials. She also helped to establish a Samepage Reseller Referral Program that enables Kerio resellers to recommend Samepage to their customers and earn commission on Samepage for Business sign ups.
Miller, who closely collaborated with Hymes on launching the Samepage Partner portal and the Reseller Referral Program, also led the reorganization of Kerio's U.S. sales team. The new structure now provides better coverage for Kerio's partners by aligning inside sales reps to geographic territories and setting up key account managers who provide the critical sales support so essential for developing and closing larger opportunities.
"These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their individual mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day," said Robert Faletra, CEO, the Channel Company. "We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success."
"Recognition by CRN Magazine as one of the top Women in the Channel is a wonderful endorsement that our efforts to help our channel partners be more successful is working," said Hymes. "Our Samepage collaboration software-as-a-service is a huge leap forward in making business collaboration simpler, easier, and more effective. Our channel partners have embraced using Samepage in their own businesses as well as in helping their customers. What better validation of our vision could there be? And -- we're just getting started!"
Miller chimed in, "Receiving this recommendation from such a well-respected publication inspires me to do even more to help Kerio's partners be successful. We have the best channel partners who kill themselves to deliver a superior IT experience to end- customers. We want to make it as easy as possible for them to do business with Kerio so they can better serve those small to mid-sized businesses that need the flexibility of reliable, scalable, easy-to-use Microsoft Exchange and Sharepoint alternatives."
The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN magazine and featured at www.crn.com.
