Kerio Operator 2.0 Has Arrived

With CRM integration, call parking and call recording, you might call Kerio Operator 2.0 the "sales edition*."

There is little doubt the phone has become an IT product, and now that VoIP is the rule rather than the exception, Kerio is adding more and more features with each release of our award-winning IP PBX.

In that spirit, Kerio Operator 2.0, now features several tools for sales professionals. This includes CRM integration, call parking and call recording. Through the Asterisk open API, we are giving IT admins a straightforward way to integrate their organization's CRM system with Kerio Operator so they can do things like click-to-dial, pull up records when a recognized number calls, and easily log call notes.

Other new features include:

  • Call Parking - A popular request from our customers, call parking gives you the ability to place a call on hold and resume it at another extension. It's great for when you need to get out of a rowdy sales department to close the deal.
  • Encrypted Calls - Similar to email, phone calls can be encrypted to make it difficult for anyone to listen to them. A great tool for corporate lawyers or HR professionals who want an added layer of security.
  • Better Handling of Extensions on Mobile Phones - Did you know you can use the same extension (phone number) for your office phone, smart phone, and soft phone on a computer? With Kerio Operator 2.0, we have improved the behind the scenes configuration for optimal call quality and user management.

I look forward to your feedback and questions in the comments section below.

Best,
