Why You Should Work at Kerio

Two more of our employees have reached incredible milestones with us at Kerio. Jess Parry, our HR & Finance Manager, located in Cambridge has celebrated 10 years at Kerio, while Pavel Beneš, one of our Senior Developers located in Pilsen, has been with us since 2001! We wanted to find out exactly why they've stayed with us. Discover their secrets:

How did you find out about Kerio?

JP: "I was contacted by a local recruitment agency to say that Kerio were looking for an office administrator."

PB: "I saw an advertisement in a tram and applied."

Was there anything that stood out about your first day at Kerio?

JP: "It was so different from the places I had worked before. I was taken for a long lunch (with beer – during the day!)."

PB: "15 years soon flies by at Kerio - I can't recall a specific moment"

Can you describe Kerio in one word?

JP: "Special."

PB: "Family."

What does Kerio mean to you on a personal and professional level?

JP: "Kerio has given me the experience and room to grow to achieve more than I ever expected. On a personal level, I’ve gained a second family, made wonderful friends, and traveled."

PB: "Kerio is a top company to work for – I love the technology we use, love the professionalism of my colleagues and love knowing that a great number of customers enjoy our products."

What are some of your fondest memories of your 10 years at Kerio?

JP: "There are too many to recall. Our Distributor event in Crete, our 10 and 15 year anniversary parties, these all stand out as really great times. My fondest memory of Kerio will always be the people. To me it’s everyone I’ve met and worked with that make Kerio the special place it is."

PB: "Establishing WebLibraries team, WebAdmin console, my two step-down from a manager role, team building activities for the whole company (Solenice, Srni)."

Can you recall a funny moment you’ve had at Kerio?

JP: "It has to be having a bath… in beer… with 4 team mates and my boss."

PB: "There have been many. I have a lot of fun at work, as my colleagues and I are all on the same page."

What future endeavors are you looking forward to at Kerio?

JP: "Every year brings something new with Kerio, this is what keeps it an exciting place to be. For me I look forward to the day when Kerio is one of ‘the’ places to work in the Cambridge area (and beyond). My friends and family are always saying ‘we want to work where you work’, I’m looking forward to a time when strangers I meet are saying ‘Wow I’d love to work at Kerio’!"

PB: "There are still possibilities to start something new and to learn new technologies on the one hand, on the other hand it is nice to see increasing stability and usability of our current products and participate in it."
